It’s not swimmable and takes a bit of effort to get in to it, but Wejulia Beach is a beautiful and less crowded option for beach time on Cabo’s Pacific side.
I had wanted to visit some of the beaches on the Pacific side of Cabo, and thought I would start with Wejulia. The only public access is through the Grand Solmar resort, which is not far from the Marina. It was about a 25 minute walk from my AirBnB to the gate at Mt Solmar. Once I got there, they signed me in and called someone to come escort me. 5 minutes later I was being led around the back of the resort. It’s unfortunate that you have to enter this way to get there. I felt a bit like an intruder.
It was a beautiful evening when I was there, and just a tad on the cool side. There were only a few other people walking the beach just then. The waves are strong along there, and it’s not a place for swimming. But you can feel the vastness of the ocean there, and it’s a nice place to watch the light fade.
The same guy led me back out. Next time I’d like to visit Pedregal Beach, which is a little further west.
